This project comprises a one-story horizontal addition with roof terrace and extensive renovations to an existing two-story single family home.  The addition added 865 square feet to the footprint, creating an expanded kitchen and family room space as well as a new guest bedroom, laundry room, pantry, and master suite roof terrace.  Contemporary interiors and a new rear yard patio with sunshade trellis reflect the home's new indoor/outdoor focus, while the exterior remained more traditional in style. Additionally, creative skylights in the kitchen and family room supply the new space with ample natural day-lighting.
